This is a sign texture I made for my new portal map. Ill just let your mind wonder on what It could possibly be

So things are def headed in the right direction for my portal map. When I started this project I thought it would prob only take me two weeks or something simple….. yeah……. Well it’s been just about a month or so now and I’m nearing my final areas of the map. I’ve been trying really hard to get some solid nice sp type elements in here that will suck the player into the story. I spent 1 week on the ending and then scrapped it recently But yeah…. hopefully it all ends well! I know the beginning is going to have some people smiling for sure ^^!

Right now I’m trying to populate the warehouse section of the map with some nice puzzles that will keep things interesting and the player thinking on his/her toes. The map is prob about an hour in length? maybe? I hope it is only testing will tell for sure!

Ok so I’m nearing some cool testing stages of my map and its getting pretty close to completion! I got my bud Mr. Happy testing it with me to make sure all the puzzles and stuff come out fun and stuff. Hopefully ill have this finished before Christmas! Heres another sneak peek!

Ok After a week of extreme hard work and little sleep I’m proud to show off the piece I made. It started out as me helping out futty but then turned into me making it my piece. Was waiting on him to make a final back wall brush piece but I ended up finishing it myself since he didn’t seem to want to get on msn. Anyways guys here it is! Noir of teh aquarium!

I would like to thank reko and Spajsat from wiseguys for donating the mobster model to me. 99% of the other custom materials / models were made by me. I will also be making a small post next about how I went about making the scene and stuff.

Woot! Raven and activision 10 year partayyy. They held a pretty cool thing over the weekend and lots of people went to it. I was like the only one that ended up wearing white XD! I think there is a rule about labor day or something i’m not really sure XD! but yeah everyone pretty much wore black. Im still not old enough to buy drinks but I grabbed some of the raven chips that looked like casino chips with the raven logo on them. heh was pretty cool tho. Also we all got raven playing cards can’t imagine how many people will be playing cards on monday and not actually getting work done

Anyways the dinner was good and all was fun!

I haven’t done anything in awhile . kinda waiting on Dave to help me with some coding stuff for conspiracy . GO Dave GO!!!! . Kinda hoping to finally make my professional portfolio by the end of next year* errhmmm *tips glass to that*. I opened ye roboblitz editor today to play with some lighting. This is what I came up with .. I guess.

Might be cool to see it as a final scene. If anyone is interested in teaming up and finishing the warehouse scene let me know. I know my way around the blitz editor pretty good so we shouldn’t have a problem ^_^.

I also just finished god of war 1 and 2 over the weekend. Both are great games but id have to say this would be the first time I’ve played a sequel to a game and it be better then the first! Gow 2 had sooo many nice environments it made my toes curl! :P! I’m a softy for shit like that. I didn’t play Gow 1 or 2 for the longest time because i thought it was just some overrated game but after sitting down and actually playing it for a bit i realized …. damn … this is a nice game! Wish i could make some maps and puzzles for it! I’m addicted hard core!. I stayed up till 9am the other day just to see the ending. hehe. Some of the things i didn’t like about the game were like moral choice related puzzles where you had to put people into harms way . Like 1 time you had to put a dieing soldier onto a spiky conveyor belt …. i was like…. i don’t want to do that……. . . . . but then I did it anyways ^_^!

So somewhere it was announced recently that Middleton, Wi was America’s best place to live! and thats where Raven Software is!! wooters! we are smack dab in the middle of Middleton :P. Id like to think we are the reason why its so great but i highly doubt that but still! its pretty cool ^^ and its a great place to work

Yeah so I wanted to get into the Game-Artist comp and do something cool but yeah……
Work picked up and i ended up doing the texture really half assed and the design was never finished XD!
Sucks that I have to submit this piece of crap but I guess its better then nothing? right?…….

Going to be taking a vacation for the next couple of days! . If i get time (chances are i will) ill write up some reviews on things i go see / do . I plan on going to see transformers ! so we shall see. ill write about my adventures when i get back! To bad i had to go on vacation tho just as insurgency came out!XD
